I'd recommend this neat at room temperature, with a few drops of water to open it up after your first pour. The 46.3% strength responds well to a little dilution — it won't collapse. On a warm evening, a Highball with good soda water and a twist of lemon zest makes surprisingly fine work of the smoky character, stretching it into something refreshing without losing the whisky's identity.
