The Shelter American Single Malt is a perfectly capable whiskey; it sips well and will be a great addition to a more savory cocktail, maybe a Gold Rush with rosemary added. The whiskey is balanced and displays a competence that a young distillery like Shelter needs to ensure longevity in the whiskey world.
