Palate

On the palate are gentle spicy notes of caramel, with bright notes of citrus, light molasses, honeysuckle, wild berries, and fresh cut grass. “The Artist” has a cool and silky texture that offers a medium to long finish with a moderately complex flavor profile. It’s definitely a solid entry level straight rye whiskey experience for those new to rye whiskey. While it’s perfectly suited for sipping during the colder months, this would be a great summer whiskey choice. Overall, it is approachable, easy sipping, and surprisingly refreshing for a relatively high proof whiskey.
