Nose
Lush salty notes hit the nose first followed by notes of wild grass, spicy vanilla, and hints of cinnamon, pears, and chocolate malted balls.
Palate
On the palate are spicy notes of oak and malted grain balanced out by flavors of green pepper, cinnamon, and apples, with subtle hints of salted butterscotch and smoky caramel. This is a medium-bodied blend of single malts that has a moderate flavor profile with a soft, medium finish. Approachable and tasty, its relatively smooth with a slightly grainy mouthfeel. Its reasonably priced and a solid choice as a weeknight sipper that would likely pair well with eats from the grill or deep fried pub fare.
