18 reviewsI've always thought Glen Moray was an underrated distillery and this bottling proves it. Rich butterscotch and baked pear on the nose, then spiced oak and dried apricot on the palate. Added a splash of water and it turned into silk. At ten years old this has no right being this complex.

25 March 2026At 57.1% this thing doesn't mess around — big hit of honey and stewed orchard fruit on the nose that really opens up with a few drops of water. Ten years in cask has given it a lovely creamy vanilla backbone. For an independent bottling at under a hundred quid, I think this is solid value.

6 February 2026This is what I want from an independent bottling — the distillery character turned up to eleven. All that classic Glen Moray maltiness and orchard fruit but with real depth and a long warm finish. I shared this with a mate who only drinks bourbon and he was genuinely impressed. Would happily buy another bottle.

23 January 2026It's a well-made whisky, no question. Clean Speyside profile with malt, vanilla, and a hint of tropical fruit. But at nearly £95 for a ten-year-old Glen Moray, even at cask strength, I feel like you can find similar quality for less. I'd buy it at £70 without hesitation.

2 January 2026Poured this neat first and the 57.1% was a bit aggressive — lots of ethanol heat masking the fruit underneath. A teaspoon of water completely transformed it though. Suddenly you get this lovely mix of honey, citrus peel and gentle wood spice. Really enjoyable dram once you find the sweet spot.

28 December 2025I wanted to love this more than I did. The nose is gorgeous — malty sweetness, a bit of toffee apple — but the palate doesn't quite deliver on that promise. It's hot even for cask strength and needs a good rest in the glass. Decent Glen Moray but Decadent Drams have done better picks.
