The Bolgheri cask finish on this Mortlach is something special. Big dark fruit, almost like blackcurrant jam, with that classic meaty Mortlach backbone underneath. At cask strength it opens up beautifully with a few drops of water. One of the best Signatory bottlings I've picked up from TWE this year.
