The tawny port cask influence is front and centre here — dried figs, dark cherry, and this gorgeous sticky toffee thing on the finish. At 50% it carries real weight without being a bruiser. I keep coming back to this bottle and it's disappearing way too fast.

Starward keep proving Australia can make serious single malt. Nose is all red berries and milk chocolate, palate adds some baking spice and a hint of leather. I drink it neat and it doesn't need water despite the 50% ABV. Good stuff.
