The Pedro Ximénez finish really comes through here — dried figs, raisins, and a touch of dark chocolate on the nose. At 43% it's easy drinking neat, and there's a pleasant sweetness that lingers without being cloying. Solid Canadian single malt that punches above what you'd expect from Yukon.

Two Brewers is doing something really special up in the Yukon and Release 41 might be their best yet. The PX cask gives it this gorgeous layer of stewed plum and brown sugar over the malty base. I keep reaching for this bottle over much more expensive drams on my shelf. Genuinely impressive.

I enjoyed this but at £90 I expected a bit more complexity. The sherry finish adds nice dried fruit and toffee notes, and it's smooth enough at 43%, but the finish drops off quicker than I'd like. Would buy again on sale, not at full price.
