12 reviewsAt 57.1% this doesn't mess around — big tropical fruit and honey on the nose that opens up beautifully with a few drops of water. For a young Korean single malt I'm genuinely impressed by the complexity here. The Whisky Exchange exclusivity makes it a nice bottle to show off at tastings too.

27 February 2026Picked this up out of curiosity since I'd never tried Korean whisky before. There's a nice malty sweetness and some orchard fruit going on, and the high ABV carries the flavours well neat. At £95 though, I think you're paying a premium for the novelty — I'd want a bit more depth for that money.

25 December 2025Had this neat over a couple of sessions. It's young and you can tell — there's a slight spirity edge at full strength that takes some coaxing to get past. But once you add water the single malt character comes through nicely with baked apple and light oak. A promising dram from a distillery worth keeping an eye on.

5 November 2025I grabbed cask 0200 on a whim and it's easily one of my favourite discoveries this year. Loads of vanilla and stone fruit, with a spicy kick from the cask strength that just lingers. Added a splash of water and got this gorgeous cereal note underneath everything. If this is where Ki One is starting, I can't wait to see what they do with older stock.
