Nose
This bourbon is a very nice dark amber, with hints of red.
Palate
Dark and smoky, with a definite hint of the white oak sap. A lovely hint of oak sap smell, and smokiness. The sweetness that hits your tongue is surprising, but just adds to the wonderful intensity of this bourbon. Truly an enjoyable drink to experience, and one I would definitely recommend, just neat, or on the rocks.
Finish
a touch of caramel sweetness, with a hint of fruit, turning to a leathery, spicy finish.
